  About our name:

Pronounced "Tally-essen", our name is a classic Welsh name which can be interpreted as "great brow" or "great wealth".  It may also be familiar as the name of the Wisconsin and Arizona homes of the great American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.

Similarly, we see ourselves as your financial
architects.  On occasion, you may also find yourself greeted by our namesake Golden Retriever mascot Tallie.

    After significant Fortune 500 experience, Joshua came to Bloomington in 1998 to attend the Full-Time MBA Program at IU.  After graduation, Joshua continued his career rising through the ranks of PricewaterhouseCoopers and later Deloitte Consulting. 

    Originally from Rochester Hills, Michigan, Joshua and his family returned to Bloomington in 2005.  With the acquisition of Taliesin Group CPAs, Joshua has permanently established roots in Bloomington and plans to play a significant role in assisting the businesses and individuals of our community. 
     
  • Rex Gradeless, CPA

    Rex started his tax career with the Internal Revenue Service as an Internal Revenue Agent.  In 1989 Rex turned his experience and knowledge to private practice concentrating with helping individuals and businesses with IRS problems and solutions. 

    Originally from Northern Indiana, Rex and his family moved to Bloomington in 2012.  Rex will play a significant role in assisting businesses and individuals of our community in the ever increasing tax regulations and compliance areas and will insure the high level of tax knowledge and assistance that our clients have come to know and rely on.
